Laura (she/her)
Position Vorstand (2024-2027)
About One topic Laura was working on when I met her was rivers. Perhaps that is where she gets her attentiveness. Her clarity. Her concentration. Attentiveness, clarity, and concentration, with which Laura embodies lived, female* solidarity. Which make her so powerful that she believes in the women* in her life, gives them the benefit of the doubt and supports them. Very hands-on, very practical. A bit like a river that carries a school of fish within it, holds them together, and carries them along. Perhaps Laura's consistency, her passionate effervescence of laughter, ideas, and drive, and her reliability also come from her preoccupation with rivers. And the complexity of uniting all of this within herself. And in doing so, recognizing her own potential and that of others and bringing it to reality. Perhaps Laura is inspired by the rivers in her life to be forward-looking and curious, to allow herself detours and waves – in responsibility for herself, others, and her own needs. Perhaps. Perhaps it's all different. In any case, I am certain that those who let themselves be carried along by Laura will move continuously and in exciting directions—away from patriarchy. She always gets me moving and flowing.

Judith (she/her)
Position Vorstand (2024-2027)
About (written by Laura) Judith Ph. Franke is the ideal partner for going for walks. Judith has a talent that is unfortunately becoming less and less valued in our society: Judith knows how to listen. Judith knows how to listen, hold back, and say the right encouraging words at the right moments. After a conversation with her, you feel heard. Maybe not always understood—because we often don't understand ourselves—but we have been heard. And that gives you a very warm feeling. Judith is intelligent, quick-witted and quick to write, and so good at asking questions and “questioning.” Thanks to Judith, I have experienced my political effectiveness and discovered my feminist self. Judith's friendship alone makes me feel empowered. But Judith is so much more than that: she is a research assistant at the Thomas Bernhard Institute in Salzburg, a doctoral candidate on the topic of feminist walking in urban spaces, a theater scholar, a scenic researcher with the collective das_explorativ, and so much more. All of this is important and significant, but for me, the most important thing to mention is that Judith is a dragonfly mentor. And I wouldn't want anyone other than Judith to guide our dragonfly through this patriarchal-capitalist world. For the dragonfly, for us, for all of us, there's only one thing left to say: Let's do it, Judith, let's do P.A.P.A.
