P.A.P.A e.v. overcomes bureaucratic barriers and abolishes patriarchy through performative actions. The founding members Laura, Judith, and Florent are friends, white, privileged with German or French citizenship by birth, and in agreement: abolishing patriarchy cannot be done alone. Under the umbrella of their association, they invite like-minded people and more-than-human beings to join them in complicity and collaboration, initiating political, feminist, and performative art projects and discussion formats. Other possible names could have been: S.I.S.I (System Change Institute – Dizzying and Interdisciplinary), F.E.E. (Feminist Elite Ensemble), Embodied A.I. (Artivist Institute), F.P.Ö. (Feminist Performative and Local) or “Lichen. Association for Performative Symbiosis”.
